Please find below some reminders regarding Cross Country:
DISTRICT CROSS COUNTRY
Cross Country district trials are rescheduled for next Wednesday 27 April at CJ Greenfields, Sports fields, Richlands. All Sherwood State School students should wear school uniform and bring hats water bottle and a piece of fruit and snack.
Mr Robinson and Ms Jones will be at the venue and all Sherwood team members should be there by 8.15am so they can check in and receive walking orientation for the course.
P-3 CROSS COUNTRY CARNIVAL
House Cross Country for Prep - Year 3 will be held on the morning of Thursday 28 April on the school oval.
Times:
9.00am - 10.00am - Prep and Year 1
10.00am - 11.00am - Year 2 and 3
Students are encouraged to wear their house colours (Simpson-yellow/ Radcliffe-green/ Boyland-blue) and appropriate running shoes. They will also need to bring a school hat and a drink bottle.
In support of their house colours, students may wear brightly coloured wigs, zinc, and streamers to the carnival.
