Please see below some upcoming Active School Travel (AST) dates, including a very special event at the end of this week. We'd love your support as we aim for a strong finish to the year!
Friday 28 October: Walk for Day for Daniel
We will be joined by Councillor Nicole Johnston and Constable Lisa Easton from 7.30am in the Jolimont Street carpark of the Sherwood Arboretum. We encourage as many Sherwood families as possible to support us on this morning for the walk, and by wearing red. There will be a raffle at 7.45am and we will depart for our supervised walk to school at 7.50am. You will also be able to make a donation to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation via the Qkr! app all week.
Wednesday 9 November: Last official AST walk from Sherwood Arboretum
Councillor Nicole Johnston will be providing breakfast (juice, muffins and fruit) for students and a coffee/hot chocolate voucher for adults who actively travel to school that day. These can be redeemed at Café 464 on arrival at school.
Please also keep an eye on your emails for information about an upcoming AST ‘scavenger hunt’ during early November.
